STOP Administrative detention – Release Administrative women detainees NOW

Tuesday, August 22nd, 2017 | 10:29

Administrative detention is a procedure that allows the Israeli occupation authorities  to hold prisoners for extended periods of time on secret information without charging them or allowing them to stand trial. Administrative detention is used almost exclusively to detain Palestinians from the occupied Palestinian territory (OPT), which includes the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip.

We Coalition of Women for Peace and Women’s Organization for Political Prisoners are on a campaign to release Administrative women detainees and Administrative detainees in general. The detainees are women and mothers who have been separated from their families and whose dreams have been stolen from them… Lets support them! Join our campaign and share their profiles to as many people as possible.

Women’s Organization for Political Prisoners (WOFPP) is a group of women united in their opposition to the Israeli occupation. WOFPP’s aim is to support women political prisoners and to promote the release of all political prisoners who have struggled, or are accused of having struggled, against the Israeli occupation and are held in Israeli jails.

Coalition of Women for Peace (CWP) is a feminist organization active in the struggle to end the Israeli occupation of Palestine, for the liberation of the Palestinian people from oppression, for the creation of a society based on principles of justice and equality. CWP brings together women from a wide variety of identities and groups, and initiates public campaigns and outreach programs, working to develop and integrate a feminist discourse on all levels of society.
